Donna's Pulled Beef Burritos

My friends and out-of-town visitors have really raved about my slow cooker creation - especially after a day of skiing in the Rocky Mountains. Enjoy and Ole!

  • 1 8 lb rump oven roast
  • 1 8 lb Sirloin tip oven roast
  • 1 pkg taco seasoning
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 jalapeño pepper seeded, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Kahlua (coffee liqueur)
  • 1 or 2 tbsp hot pepper sauce
  • 1 can chopped tomato


Place roast in slow cooker. Add all other ingredients and cook on low for 8 hours. When done, remove beef and pull it apart into bit-sized pieces - place pulled beef back into slow cooker. Have guests create their own burritos by having soft tortillas, shredded cheese, sour cream, guacamole, hot sauces and salsas on the table along with your slow cooker - buffet style. This goes great with homemade Margaritas!
