I like to serve this omelette on sunday morning, with a glass of fresh orange juice, 1 toasted bagel sliced in 2, 2 sliced tomatoes and a hot cup of tea

Ingredients

  • 2 Eggs beaten
  • 1 cup sliced mushroom
  • 1 cup sliced mushroom
  • 1 cup sliced zucchini
  • 1/2 onion diced
  • 2 tbspoon butter
  • 2 tbspoon margarine
  • 1 cup Canadian Cheddar Cheese or any cheese you like grated
  • 1 slice ham diced

Method

Saute in butter or margarine mushroom, zuccini and onion until soft, add ham.  Next add beaten eggs. cover and cook for 3 minutes, turn omelette add cheese, cover, take off stove. While the omelette rests pour orange juice, toast bagel and serve tea or coffee.  Cut omelette in 2, serve in 2 plates with 1/2 bagel and tomatoes. Bonne appetit.
