Grilled Steak

While not a kosher cut, flank steak is lean, tasty and quick to grill.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 lbs flank marinating steak
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 8 garlic cloves minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Method

Place steak in large shallow dish. In small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic and pepper; pour over steak, turning to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or for up to 24 hours.

Transfer steak to greased grill or grill pan over medium-high heat; close lid and cook for 7 minutes per side for medium-rare, brushing with remain-ing marinade before turning. Transfer to cutting board; tent with foil and let stand for 10 minutes. Slice very thinly across the grain.
