My son is started out in the working world, and we came up with this quickie to get him some protein quickly before he's out the door - or he takes it with him.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices bread
  • 1/4 cup havarti and cheddar cheese sliced
  • 1 slice ham or other lunch meat

Method

Cut the cheese as thick as you like, put on bread. Put slice of meat on top, cover with other bread. Put on a microwave safe plate, put in microwave for one minute. Remove, let cool a bit. Enjoy the gooey goodness.
