Hash Brown casserole

This is my family's favorite dinner. It is quick and easy to make with ingrediants from your freezer. When I introduced it to my brother and his family it also became their favorite as well especially with his younger children.

  • 1 pkg hashbrowns thawed in microwave
  • 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 lb ground beef cooked and drained
  • 1 can beef gravy
  • 1 cup salsa


Mix cooked ground beef with gravy and salsa. put in 8 x 12 pan. Next layer the frozen mixed vegetables or any combinations of vegetables you like. Mix the thawed hashbrowns with cheese, egg and mushroom soup. Layer on top of vegetables Cook at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes or until Hashbrowns are done.
