Can be served with a salad or just doused with ketchup. A favorite of mine for 60 years, got my children hooked on it and am still serving it.

  • 3 tablespoons margarine
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 can Maple Leaf Klik diced (no substitute)
  • 1/2 lb spaghetti
  • 1/2 lb vermicelli
  • 1/2 lb Kraft Velveeta no substitute

Break up spaghetti for easier serving. Cook according to package directions. In the meantime, melt margarine on medium heat, in a large, electric frying pan. Fry onion in margarine until almost opaque. Add Klik and brown slightly. Turn heat down, medium to low, and add cooked spaghetti. Mix all ingredients from bottom to top, until evenly distributed. Slice Velveeta and cover the top of the entire mixture. Place lid on frying pan and let sit for a few minutes for the cheese to melt. Cut in portions and serve.
