Mustard Honey Pork Chops

Sweet yet tangy pork chops appeal to everyone in the family. They need only whole grain rice and your favourite steamed vegetable to fill the plate.

Ingredients

  • 4 pork loin chops (3/4 inch/2 cm thick)
  • 2 tbsp (25 ml) liquid honey
  • 2 tbsp (25 ml) maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp (25 ml) Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons grainy mustard
  • 1/2 tsp (2ml) salt and pepper

Method

Trim any fat from pork chops. Combine honey, Dijon and grainy mustards, salt and pepper; brush over both sides of pork chops.

Place on greased grill over medium heat or under broiler; close lid and grill, turning once, until juices run clear when chops are pierced and just a hint of pink remains inside, 8 to 10 minutes.
