This is an eash one-dish meal that has many layers of taste. Served with a variety of my favorite salads, my guests rave about this recipe. Similar to a risotto, the parmesan cheese unites the flavours. And did I mention that it is just as good as a luncheon leftover?

Ingredients
Method
Melt butter in cast iron frying pan over medium high heat. Add orzo and saute for 2 to 3 minutes until lightly brown and aromatic. Add broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until the liquid is absorbed and the orzo is tender, about 20 minutes. Mix in shredded chicken breast and heat thoroughly. Add the parmesan cheese and basil and gently combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
