 Kids might like to top off their glasses with bubbly ginger ale or soda water. Adults can enjoy a shot of brandy or vodka mixed in.

Ingredients

  • 1 lemon
  • 1 orange
  • 1 apple (such as Golden Delicious)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 dashes angostura bitters
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 4 cups chilled pomegranate juice
  • ice cubes

Method

Quarter and seed lemon, orange and apple; thinly slice crosswise.

In pitcher and with wooden spoon, muddle together lemon, orange, apple, sugar, bitters and salt; refrigerate for 30 minutes or for up to 8 hours.

Stir in juice, mixing well. Add ice.
