Using roasted peanuts makes this peanut butter more flavourful than store-bought. Peanuts are a good source of monounsaturated fats, which are key in any heart-healthy diet.

  • Portion size 2 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups roasted unsalted peanuts
  • 2 teaspoons packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method

In food processor, puree peanuts until smooth, scraping down side occasionally, about 3 minutes. Add brown sugar and salt; process to combine.

Make-ahead: refrigerate in airtight container for up to 1 week.
