Seed Bread

Organic red fife flour is available at most bulk food stores. If you can't find it, use graham flour.

  • Portion size 12 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons liquid honey
  • 2 teaspoons fancy molasses
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter softened
  • 2 cups organic red fife flour
  • 2 cups organic graham flour
  • 1 1/2 cup white bread flour
  • 1 3/4 teaspoon bread machine yeast
  • 2 tablespoons millet
  • 2 tablespoons sunflower seed
  • 2 tablespoons hulled pumpkin seed
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon flaxseeds

Method

Into pan of bread machine, place in order: water, honey, molasses, salt, butter, red fife flour, white bread flour and yeast. Set on Whole Wheat setting.

When “add ingredient” signal beeps, add millet, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds and flaxseeds.
