Easy to assemble and made mostly of pantry ingredients, this addictive dip is ideal for a crowd at any time of year. Serve with puff pastry twists, flatbread, sliced vegetables or even thick-cut potato chips.

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 oz smoked salmon
  • 1/2 cup water-packed artichoke heart drained
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup reduced-fat mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup light sour cream (5%)
  • 1 tablespoon caper
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon zest
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh chives

Method

In food processor, pulse together salmon, artichoke hearts, onion, mayonnaise, sour cream, capers, Dijon mustard, lemon zest and pepper until blended yet still chunky. Stir in chives. Scrape into serving bowl. (Make-ahead: Cover and refrigerate for up to 3 days.)
