For Christmas, these little snowballs are wonderful. I remember my mother making these from the time I was very, very little, and that was quite some time ago. To keep the recipe the way I remember it, I use a liquid measure for everything, just the way Mom did it.

  • Portion size 6 servings

  • 1 cup chopped date plus nuts
  • 1 cup icing sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • butter icing
  • shredded coconut


Mix dates and nuts, icing sugar, butter, and peanut butter well. Roll into balls.

Dip them in butter icing, roll in coconut, and chill.
