Strawberry Pecan Salad

This salad has a tangy sweet dressing that you can make well ahead of time.

Ingredients

  • 10 cups torn romaine lettuce (about 1 head)
  • 2 cups Strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 3/4 cups pecans toasted
  • 1 small red onion cut_into thin rings
Dressing:
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 small garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon liquid honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Method

Dressing: In large bowl, whisk together oil, vinegar, honey, garlic, salt and pepper. (Make-ahead: Refrigerate in airtight container for up to 2 days.)

Add lettuce, strawberries, pecans and onion; toss to coat.
