Sweet and Sour Meatballs

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 jar grape jelly
  • 2 cups bread crumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons pepper
  • 2 cups ketchup
  • 1 cup cider vinegar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons parsley


First its a good idea to make the balls .Mince the garlic,then add the 3 eggs,bread crumbs,parsley,salt and pepper.Once the previous ingredients are mixed ,kneed in the ground beef making sure its throughly mixed.Make balls about 1 1/2 inches thick. Then place balls in a large roaster pan. Now mix remaining ingredients together,proceed to pour sauce over balls in the roaster. Preheat oven to 375 degrees .Once oven is at the appropriate temperature place the roaster pan in the oven and bake for about 1 and 1/2 hours depending on the oven(as long as meat is cooked).
