This recipe has always been my family's favourite whenever we get together. I only make it when there are a lot of people coming because it serves a lot of people. It is great at barbecues with salads because it gives a warm touch to the meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 28 oz kidney bean drained
  • 1 14 oz yellow bean (drained)
  • 1 14 oz green bean (drained)
  • 1 28 oz chick peas (drained)
  • 1 14 oz pork and beans
  • 1 can Campbells tomato soup
  • 1 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 4 oz tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 brown sugar
  • 1 lb ground hamburger meat chicken or turkey
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves garlic

Method

Fry hamburger till brown, add chopped onion and garlic.

Add remaining ingredients and mix gently. Place in a casserole dish or Crock Pot. Cook all day on low in Crock Pot, or 45mins in casserole dish at 350 F in the oven.
