Taco salad is a delicious, easy, & quick way to put a big dinner together - one bowl feeds 6 hungry adults!

- 2 lbs lean ground beef
- 2 lbs lean ground chicken
- 2 lbs lean ground turkey
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1/2 red onion diced
- 2 tomatoes diced
- 1 green pepper chopped
- 1 red pepper chopped
- 1 yellow pepper chopped
- 1/2 head romaine lettuce shredded
- 1 1/2 cup medium salsa
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 bag tortilla chip broken into smaller pieces
- 1 cup Cheddar cheese shredded
MethodBrown ground beef/chicken/turkey in skillet. Add taco seasoning, following instructions on the packet.
Mix together diced/chopped vegetables (red onion, tomatoes, peppers, Romaine lettuce), salsa, sour cream, and cheese together in a large bowl.
When taco meat is ready and slightly cooled, add to the mix in the bowl, and stir.
While tortilla chips are still in bag, lightly crunch the chips so that they break into smaller pieces.
Right before serving, add chips into the bowl and mix together.
Serve and enjoy!
