Prepare all your vegetables, put in roaster.

  • 1/2 lb weiners
  • 1 cup raw potato diced
  • 1 cup raw red onion diced
  • 1 cup celery diced
  • 1 1/2 cup raw carrots diced
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup tomato juice
  • 1 tablespoon butter


Quarter wieners and put in baking dish with raw vegetables. Sprinkle with pepper and add hot water. Cover dish and cook in moderate oven for one hour on 350 degrees F. Blend curry powder and flour etc. mix with juice. Add butter and pour and bake for another 30 min. uncovered. Variation: Could use sausages instead of weiners, could use salt optional. Could multiply the amount of vegetables used according to how many people you are having.
