Rich and decadent but so tasty, this dip naturally complements fresh fruit. You'll need about 1 cup (250 mL) prepared fruit per person.

Ingredients

  • 3 oz white chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 1/3 cup 10% cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp grated lime rind
  • 1 tsp orange-flavoured liqueur or lime juice

Preparation

In heatproof bowl over saucepan of hot (not boiling) water, melt chocolate with cream, stirring gently. Let cool to room temperature.

In separate bowl, beat cream cheese with sugar until fluffy; beat in lime rind. Stir in chocolate mixture and liqueur. Refrigerate for 1 hour. (Make-ahead: Refrigerate in airtight container for up to 2 days. Let stand at room temperature to soften.)
