Rotten Apple Martini

A gummi worm garnish adds a whimsical touch to this sour green martini. For best flavour and colour, choose a sour apple liqueur (such as Sour Puss Sour Apple). If using a sweet schnapps (such as Berentzen Apflenkorn), add 1 tbsp (15ml) lime juice.

    1-1/2 oz (40 ml) apple juice
    1-1/2 oz (40 ml) vodka
    1 oz (30 ml) sour apple schnapps or apple shnapps
    Garnish:
    1 thin half-round slice Granny Smith apple
    1 gummi worm

Preparation:

Garnish:
With straw, poke hole in apple; thread gummi worm through hole. Cut slit through apple; place on rim of glass.

Fill cocktail shaker with ice. Add apple juice, vodka and schnapps; shake vigorously to blend and chill. Strain into prepared glass.
