Salsa Burgers

Serve these juicy burgers in your favorite buns. Carrot sticks and broccoli stalks with a dip round out the meal.
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup thick-style salsa
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 lb lean ground beef
Preparation
In large bowl, beat egg; mix in salsa, bread crumbs, onion, mustard, chili powder, salt and pepper. Mix in ground beef. Shape into Ten 3/4 inch (2 cm) thick patties. (Can be layered between sheets of waxed paper, then placed in freezer bag or airtight container and frozen for up to 1 month; thaw in refrigerator for 36 bours before continuing.)
On greased grill over medium-high heat, cook burgers, turning once, for about 9 minutes or until no longer pink inside.
