1/4 cup (50 mL) each finely chopped onion
1/4 cup (50 mL) vegetable oil
2 tbsp (25 mL) red_wine_vinegar
1 tbsp (15 mL) each packed brown sugar and tomato paste
1/2 tsp (2 mL) dry mustard
1/4 tsp (1 mL) each salt and pepper
Preparation:
In bowl, whisk together onion, vegetable oil, vinegar, brown sugar, tomato paste, dry mustard, salt and pepper. (Make-ahead: Refrigerate in airtight container for up to 1 week.)
