1 egg
1/4 cup (50 mL) dry bread crumbs
1/4 tsp (1 mL) each salt and pepper
1 small onion, grated
2 italian sausages (8 oz/250 g)
12 oz (375 g) lean ground pork
1 onion
4 onion buns, halved
Preparation:
In bowl, beat egg; mix in bread crumbs, salt, pepper and grated onion. Remove sausages from casings; add to bowl along with pork and combine well. Form into four 1/2-inch (1 cm) thick patties.
Cut onion crosswise into 4 slices. Place patties and onion on greased grill over medium heat; close lid and cook, turning once, until patty is no longer pink inside and onion is tender, 14 to 16 minutes. Serve burgers and onion sandwiched in buns.

Grilled Potato Wedges
4 baking potatoes
2 tbsp (25 mL) vegetable oil
1/2 tsp (2 mL) each salt and pepper
1/2 tsp (2 mL) dried oreganoScrub potatoes; cut each into 8 wedges. In bowl, toss potatoes with oil, salt, pepper and oregano. Place on greased grill over medium heat; close lid and cook, turning halfway through, until golden and tender, 25 minutes.
