Shortcut Supper Pizza
When it's your turn to make supper, make it pizza-pleasing with a quick-to-make pizza and a big bowlful of salad greens. Use tortillas, pitas or a ready-made base for the crust.

Ingredients:

Prebaked pizza base (12 inch/30 cm)
3/4 cup (175 mL) pasta or pizza sauce
1/2 tsp (2 mL) dried oregano or basil
2 cups (500 mL) shredded mozzarella cheese
2 cups (500 mL) toppings (such as sliced mushrooms, green pepper, onion rings and sliced pepperoni)
1/4 cup (50 mL) freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation:
Place oven rack on bottom third of oven. Turn heat to 450°F (230°C).
Place pizza base on pan. Spread base with pasta sauce; sprinkle with oregano and about one-third of mozzarella. Arrange toppings evenly over cheese.
Sprinkle remaining mozzarella evenly over toppings. Sprinkle evenly with Parmesan cheese. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until cheese is bubbling and base is crisp.
Wearing oven mitts, remove pizza pan from oven; carefully slide pizza onton cutting board. Using pizza wheel, cut into wedges.
