Snappy Strawberry Salsa

Tested Till Perfect

This slasa makes a lovely accompaniment for grilled chicken.

Servings: 2 to 4 cups (500 mL to 1 L)

Ingredients:

    1 tbsp (15 mL) Balsamic vinegar
    1 tsp (5 mL) Liquid honey
    1/4 tsp (1 mL) Coarsely ground black pepper
    2 cups (500 mL) Sliced strawberries
    1/2 cup (125 mL) Halved green grapes
    2 tbsp (25 mL) Chopped fresh basil

Preparation:

In large bowl, whisk together vinegar, honey and pepper.

Stir in strawberries, grapes and basil. Let stand for 20 minutes.
