Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 (1/2 to 3/4 inch/1-2 cm thick) trimmed pork loin chops
  • 3/4 cup chicken stock
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp wine vinegar
  • 2 minced cloves of garlic
  • 1 pinch pepper

Preparation

In nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat; cook chops, turning once, for 8 to 10 minutes or until just a hint of pink remains inside. Transfer to plate.

Add stock, sugar, vinegar, garlic and pepper to skillet; cook over high heat, stirring often, for 4 minutes or until syrupy. Return chops and any accumulated juices to skillet; turn to coat and heat through.

Serve with: Tomato Green Beans
