Lightly sweetened iced tea replaces the wine in this alcohol-free twist on fruity sangria. Frozen grapes keep the drink cold without watering down the flavour.

Method

In large heatproof liquid measure or bowl, steep tea bags in boiling water for 5 minutes; discard tea bags. Stir in sugar until dissolved. Let cool to room temperature. Cover and refrigerate until chilled, about 2 hours. (Make-ahead: Refrigerate for up to 24 hours.)

Pour into pitcher; stir in lemon juice, lime juice, cherries, apple and orange. Refrigerate until chilled, about 2 hours. (Make-ahead: Refrigerate for up to 4 hours.) Stir in frozen grapes just before serving.

Tip from The Test Kitchen: To freeze grapes, simply wash grapes and pat dry; freeze in an airtight container until solid, about 1 hour.
