This all-purpose dressing suits any salad mix but is just as delicious on simple wedges of lettuce.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups torn romaine lettuce or mixed salad greens.php">greens
  • 4 grape tomatoes or cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced radishes
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced cucumbers
  • 1/4 cup cubed Swiss cheese
  • 3/4 cup cubed cooked chicken
  • 1 hard-cooked eggs, cut into wedges

Preparation

In small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, pickles, capers, green olives, ketchup, water, vinegar and pepper. (Make-ahead: Refrigerate in airtight container for up to 1 week.)
