Tuna Burgers
Made with on-hand ingredients, tuna burgers are a quick remedy to the supper dilemma.

2 eggs
1/3 cup (75 mL) dry bread crumbs
1 tbsp (15 mL) chopped fresh dill (or 1 tsp/5 mL dried dillweed)
1 tbsp (15 mL) horseradish
2 tsp (10 mL) Dijon mustard
1/4 tsp (1 mL) pepper
Pinch salt
2 cans (each 6.5 oz/184 g) water-packed tuna
2 green onions, minced
1 stalk celery, chopped
1 tbsp (15 mL) vegetable oil
4 whole wheat hamburger buns
Alfalfa sprouts
Preparation:
In bowl, lightly beat eggs; mix in bread crumbs, dill, horseradish, mustard, pepper and salt. Drain tuna; mix into bowl along with onions and celery. Shape into four 1/2-inch (1 cm) thick patties.
In nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium heat; cook patties, turning once, for 10 minutes or until golden brown and set. Sandwich in buns. Garnish with sprouts.
