With lively additions, it's easy to add a new twist to plain drawn butter.

Servings: 1/2 cup (125 mL)

Preparation:

Chili Lime Butter:
In bowl, stir together butter, lime rind and juice, jalapeno pepper, salt and pepper. (Make-ahead: Cover and refrigerate for up to 24 hours; rewarm to serve.)

Ginger Butter:
In bowl, stir together butter, ginger, salt and pepper. (Make-ahead: Cover and refrigerate for up to 24 hours; rewarm.) Stir in coriander.
