Olive oil and garlic enhance the bright, sweet flavours of cherry tomatoes to serve on slices of crusty market-fresh baguette.
Ingredients

2 cups (500 mL) cherry_tomatoes, halved
2 tbsp (25 mL) extra-virgin olive_oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 tsp (1 mL) salt
Pinch pepper
2 tbsp (25 mL) thinly shredded fresh basil
Crostini:
12 slices (1/2 inch/1 cm thick) baguette
2 tbsp (25 mL) extra-virgin olive_oil
1 whole clove garlic
Preparation
Crostini: Meanwhile, brush 1 side of baguette slices with oil. Grill over medium-high heat until toasted and golden, about 3 minutes.
Cut garlic clove in half; rub cut side over toasted side of slices. Top with tomato mixture.
