I have two teen boys(15 and 13).When they do extra work around here,I was wondering what others give their kids upon a job completion?I want them to earn their own money, and for me to stop being their personal ATM.Thanks in advance.

I think that's a great idea mouse!
We tried something similar with our kids. We sat down with them one evening, and made a list of all the extra jobs around the house that they could do for extra money. Then, together we came up with a fair payment amount for each task. Of course the kids thought that everything should be worth 20 bucks Laughing but we came to a fair agreement on the value of each job. I think each job could be valued differently. For us, cutting the lawn was worth 10 dollars... that sort of thing. We also put up that list, and columns for each day. When one of the kids completed the job, they put their name under that job and that day. At the end of the week, we tallied it up and paid them.
Hope that helps...even if it just gives you an idea Smile
