Has anyone used this product at all? I'm interested in making picture frames as gifts, but would like to know a bit more about using this product.

Thanks. Very Happy

I am an art teacher. I haven't used this product and I probably won't. Plaster itself is pretty darn fast!! I can't imagine needing it to be faster.
Plaster itself is a fairly fragile material in the final analysis. If you can, in the pouring of a mold, include some reinforcement like plastic window screen material or cheesecloth it's a good plan. Pour some plaster in.. the put the material in (small strips if needed) and finish with the rest of the plaster. "Bang" the mold (or the table) to shake out any bubbles while the plaster is still wet.
Good luck. Buy your plaster at a hardware store. *ART* materials cost easily twice as much for the same stuff!
