Anyone have the problem of the underwire in their bra breaking?I have had that happen several times.I can't seem to find a brand where this doesn't happen. Also,to find one without breaking the bank would be nice...

Oh, don't you just hate that?!?
I find that after just a bit of wear, the underwire pops out under the arm. That makes the bra completely unwearable unless you can stand being poked under the arm all day!
I found that Triumph bras lasted the longest without that happening, and they aren't too over the top price-wise.

It's probably breaking because of the way it's being washed and dried. Do you just throw your bra in the washer or do you use a lingerie bag for it? These lingerie bags (which can be bought in the dollar stores), really help to save your fine under garments. Also, if you are putting your bras in the dryer, you are breaking down the wire, which is probably not really wire, but a plastic.

I always use those lingerie bags for washing my bras as well. Occasionally, I do miss one when I do the laundry but so far have not had any problems with the underwire breaking or coming out. Hang then to dry also, buy the little clothes pins from the $ store too.

I have had that happen a few times. I decided to try a more expensive/better quality bra. I ordered from Victoria Secret and have had no problems since.
I won't buy cheap anymore.

I used to always buy bras at la senza, and the wire always broke too! I HATE THAT! I never put them in the dryer either, and was good with them.. I found lingerie bags wouldn't even help. so I boycotted that store lol. I have bought 4 or 5 bras now at la vie en rose and I love them! not a single one has broken yet, and I think I have had them 8 months now, 1 or 2 worn very very regular and the other 2 I alternate in when I need my regs washed lol. I will reccomend that store's bras for sure..

Yes,I like la vie en rose as well.As for my other bras,I am going through a "cheapskate"period right now,so am attempting to sew the area where the underwire poked through. The other day, when a wire broke,I was out,so I slipped into a bathroom, and wrapped a bandaid around the spot, worked for a little while... you must try hot glue....when ever i get an underwire poking through i just hot glue over the spot and that fixes it. you can also wash it quite a few times before you have to reapply.
