Hi All,
Welcome to October's book giveaway! We're running a monthly book giveaway in our forums. Each month we're giving away five novels!
Here are the details — and please read these carefully to ensure you comply with the rules so you have a chance to win!
1. Be one of the first five people to respond correctly to our monthly CanLit trivia question.
2. Submit your answer to forums@canadianliving.com.
3. The first five people who submit the correct response will each win one free new book!
4. If you were a winner in September's book giveaway, you are ineligible to win one of October's titles. In order for the contest to remain fair, a new batch of bookworms will win October's titles. But September winners, do come back in December!
This month's contest starts ... NOW! October's title is Angel Time by Anne Rice. Click on the title to get more info on this book.
Margaret Atwood's new book, The Year of the Flood, has created a lot of buzz. According to her, where did she find inspiration for the book's characters (psst ... you can find the answer here!)?
Good luck! _________________ Daniela Payne

Yes! I should do that.
Atwood got inspiration for her characters from real life. Here's what she has to say about her characters in The Year of the Flood: People with these jobs do exist. In some form, they have probably existed for a very long time – my "future" variations are just that – variations.
