Love and patience are probably the most important but I figure respect is important too, this is the word I came up with that covers that and many other situations

In my opinion it would be unconditional love. I believe the word "respect" though pretty much covers it all.
I found a site today while being bored at work that I found very useful and it made me realize things that are important for a parent to make sure their child learns as they get older. I think I probably can't post the link in here though eh? Just in case I can't and it's something that anyone would like to read and learn like I did, you can go on google and type "27 Skills Your Child Needs to Know That She’s Not Getting In School".
