No snow here... thank goodness!!
It's unseasonably cold here for October though, and I'm just hoping we get some nicer temperatures before winter really sets in!

we had snow last week and over the weekend but thankfully it is gone now.
Don put the studded tires on 2 days ago because it was snowing when he came home from work and was turning to ice.
tires are not legal until this weekend. he said he will pay the fine and be alive.
it is beautifully sunny here today hope it stays that way for the weekend.

We had a good sump of snow on Tuesday and Wednesday, it is now melting into a slushy mess.

No snow here in the lower mainland of BC but I can see a little bit topping the North Shore Mountains. Today it is absolutely pouring buckets of rain & for the next three days Sad. My dog won't even go out for potty.

Mouse, you are too funny! s**w....lol
No actual snow in my neck of the woods but they were calling for 1 cm overnight. Didn't happen. Too bad. Looking forward to wearing my new cozy warm boots and hearing that wonderful crunching sound with every footstep. I do enjoy winter.

Laughing I knew someone was going to comment! Everyone I tell thinks I am crazy for loving winter. Winnepeg...now there is a city I would move to if I had a DH who could tolerate the cold winters. Wink

We had a wee bit of snow a couple of days ago. This is the first time in a long time that I am actually looking forward to snow. We have a new puppy and I am just dying to see his reaction to his first real snow. We have a cat that likes it, at least I think he does. When the deck fills with snow he does these hilarious face plants into the snow. He doesn't stay out very long though. Since he and the puppy chase each other all over the back yard, I am curious to see if the puppy picks up his goofy habit.
We don't often get a lot of snow where I live anymore. When I was a kid, snowbanks were commonly 5 feet high. (Yes, i am a feet and inches gal, no metric here. I learned in feet and inches and can't get the switch)

Looks like Whistler may open early due to the snowfall. Hopefully it will stick around for the Olympics.

We Brits don't have any snow, and I hope that we don't get any, because if we do everything grinds to a halt, and I'm only talking about an inch or so! We were promised a HOT summer and we only got two weeks at the end of June, the rest of the time it's been miserable! Nothing new there then.
