Caesar

Also Bloody Caesar. A popular drink made with a mixture of clam and tomato juices, vodka, Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce, served in a glass rimmed with a mixture of salt and ground celery seeds and garnished with a celery stick. A fairly recent star in the cocktail galaxy, it was invented in the late 1960s by Walter Chell, a bartender who worked for the Westin hotel chain in Calgary, Alberta, to celebrate the opening of an Italian restaurant. The drink has since become so popular that some call it the national drink of Canada.
