Golden Syrup

Also light treacle. A syrupy amber-colored liquid sweetener made by evaporating sugarcane juice until it's thick and sticky like molasses, or treacle. This sweetener is popular in Britain, Australia and the West Indies, where it's used in baked treacle tarts, steamed puddings and pancakes, and as a topping for porridge.
