Ruby Port

Also ruby Porto. A blended, fortified dessert wine produced in Portugal that owes its deep red color and fruity flavor to its youth (both would mellow with age). Ruby port, chilled or not, is enjoyed with flavorful cheeses, fruit and nuts, and may be used to poach fruit or in salad dressing or sauce. See also port.
