Snapper

Name of a fish from the Lutjanidae (or Lutianidae) family found mostly in warm water, such as in the Caribbean, but also found off the coast of England. Best known is the edible red snapper. Not all snappers are edible but they all have red skin with firm, white flesh. Snappers are carnivorous, with large mouths and sharp teeth.
