Taco Sauce

A spicy, green or red sauce (with unripe green or ripe red tomatoes, respectively, and tomato paste as its base), containing sweet, chile and jalapeño peppers, and seasonings, that is mixed into or spooned over taco fillings. It may be homemade or purchased; bottled versions vary from mild to red hot.
