1. The Canadian Living 6-Week Slim-Down contest is organized by www.canadianliving.com and is the property of Transcontinental Media G.P. Limit of one (1) online entry per person for the duration of the contest. Contest opens January 2nd, 2012 and closes February 13th, 2012. Any reference to time in this document indicates Eastern Daylight saving Time (EDT).

2. To enter, visit the Canadian Living 6-Week Slim-Down newsletter signup page during the designated contest dates (Jan. 2, 2012 through Feb. 13, 2012). Contest closes 23:59 (EST) on February. 13th, 2012.

3. Six (6) prize winner will be selected by random draw during the week of February 13th, 2012.

Each winner will receive one (1) prize pack, including:
• One (1) $100 President's Choice gift card,
• $100 worth of President's Choice Blue Menu products, and
• One (1) Nike+ SportBand

Approximate total value of the prize: $280.00

The prizes listed above have no cash value, and must be accepted as awarded. Prizes are not transferable or convertible to cash, and cannot be sold, traded or transferred. Canadian Living and Transcontinental G.P. retain the right, in their sole discretion, to substitute a prize of equivalent or greater value in the event of the unavailability of any element of the prize for any reason whatsoever.

4. Six (6) winning entries will be chosen from all eligible entries received before February 13th, 2012 at 23:59 by Canadian Living. The drawing will be held at the Transcontinental Media G.P. offices in Toronto, Ontario. All decisions are considered final.

General Terms and Conditions
The contest is open to all residents of Canada who are 18 years of age and/or have reached the age of majority in the province in which they reside, with the exception of employees, directors and officers of Transcontinental Media G.P., contest sponsors and all persons with whom these employees are domiciled.

The winner(s) will be contacted by email. In the event that Transcontinental Media G.P. cannot contact the selected entrant for whatever reason within forty-eight (48) hours following the draw, Transcontinental Media G.P. will conduct as many draws as necessary from the entry forms to find a winner.

To claim his/her prize, the winner must fill in and sign a Declaration of Compliance and a full Liability Release that will be sent to him or her by email or fax by a Canadian Living representative. The signed form must be completed and returned within five (5) days of receiving it.

All decisions of the contest judge(s) are final. The chances of being selected depend upon the total number of entries received. This contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws.

Transcontinental Media G.P. reserves the right to reject any entry form that is incomplete, illegible or that contains a human or mechanical error and to proceed with the selection of another Entry Form.

The Contest Sponsors and their respective affiliates, their advertising and promotional agencies accept no responsibility in any case where their inability to satisfy these contest rules arises from any situation which is outside of their control including but not limited to a situation of strike, lock-out or other labour strife in the sponsors’ workplaces or in the workplaces of any organization or entity whose services are used for running this contest. The Contest Sponsors accept no responsibility for entries lost, misdirected, illegible, incomplete, delayed or destroyed or for the failure or malfunction of any hardware, software or telecommunication component relating to online entries.

The Contest Sponsors have the right to terminate or alter the rules of the contest at any time without notice for any reason whatsoever including, if for any reason in the opinion of the Contest Sponsors, in their sole discretion, the contest is not capable of operating as planned or if the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the contest is corrupted or adversely affected, including by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond their control. The Contest Sponsors reserve the right in their sole discretion to disqualify any individual they find to be tampering with the operation of the contest or to be acting in violation of these rules or otherwise in a disruptive manner with respect to the contest.

All entries become the property of Transcontinental Media G.P. and none will be returned. Canadian Living, Transcontinental Media G.P. and third parties may make the information on these entry forms available for promotional purposes unless entrants request otherwise.

Transcontinental Media G.P. and the contest sponsors reserve the right to modify or cancel the Contest without advance notice.

QUEBEC CONTESTANTS:
For residents of Quebec, any dispute concerning the conduct or administration of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Regie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any dispute concerning the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Regie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
