Research indicates that the regular consumption psyllium fibre can help individuals lower their blood cholesterol levels.

Psyllium fibre is one of nature's most concentrated sources of soluble fibre. Consuming as little as 1/3 cup of cereal with psyllium fibre each day will provide health benefits, according to this video provided by News Canada.

It is estimated that 48 per cent of men and 43 per cent of women have elevated blood cholesterol levels.
