Here's what you'll need:
- Newspapers
- Plastic birds and farm animals
- White spray paint
- Orange Sharpie
- Orange glitter
- Glue
- White craft feathers
- Small paint brush
- Utility knife

Step 1: Lay out newspapers in a well-ventilated area to protect your work surface. Use several coats to spray paint your birds from all angles and allow to dry.

Step 2: Use an orange Sharpie to polka-dot your animals.

Step 3: Carefully use your utility knife to make a three-quarter-inch-deep slot into the back of each bird.

Step 4: Glue a single feather to the base of each animal.

Step 5: Use a paint brush and glue to apply glitter onto each bird in a different location. Try a glitter beak, glitter feet or glitter wings. One of our birds has a glitter feather tip.

Step 6: Write out place cards and insert into the slot on each bird's back. Arrange at each place setting.

We have lots more fun and easy DIY ideas, including the trendiest crafts for spring.
