Hi friends, After the positive response to my post last week about getting organized for a DIY Christmas (thank you!), I've been thinking even more about how we can get ready to have the Make+Do-iest Christmas ever – while still having time for a whole lot of this: The answer, of course, is to do a series of Make+Do project tutorials, complete with shopping lists, step-by-steps, and bonus content from other Canadian Living experts. I'm drawing up a list of projects now, and I'm curious: What quick-and-easy gifts would you like to learn to make the Christmas? The cosy Weekend Socks from November's issue of CL are already on the list, and I have a couple other quick-but-awesome ideas, too. But if there's something you'd love to know how to make (A coffee cup sleeve? A festive terrarium? A centrepiece?) I'd love to know about it. Please leave your ideas in the comments section, and I'll get to work! And don't forget to mark your calendars: the first Festive Friday happens on Nov. 5. I'll be posting info on the first project, how to share photos of your work and some great prizes over the next week. Stay tuned!
