Giveaway #73: Cowl Girls

Hi again, We're just a few days into fall, but I've already noticed a nip in the air, and my hand-knits having been making their way back into the rotation. At the top of the pile: my Monkey See Monkey Do cowl, which I made two years ago with some lovely fall-coloured Koigu Painter's Palette Premium Merino. cowlgirls-250 I love cowls, so I was extra excited with this week's giveaway book landed on my desk. Cowl Girls: The Neck's Big Thing to Knit, by Cathy Carron, is chock-a-block full of variations on my favourite fall accessory. Click through, then click on the photo of the book pages for a preview (I liked it best in fullscreen mode). Sure enough, the book delivers – there's a cowl (or three) for everyone. From delicate collars to chunky snoods,  you're sure to find a  warming accessory that fits your style...or that of someone on your gift list. Some are traditional, some are a little off-the-map – but they've all got lots of personality. For your chance to win, leave a comment on this post by 11:59 p.m., Sunday, October 3, telling me what your favourite piece of winter warm-up gear is. I'll post a winner here on Monday, October 4. One entry per person, please. Good luck!
