Hi friends, I don't know about you, but I am utterly tired of hearing about the G20 summit. I can't wait until it's all over and we can have our city back! [caption id="attachment_2123" align="aligncenter" width="300" caption="Hmm, is it a coincidence that I'm even thinking about fences when I'm quilting?"] [/caption] In an effort to ignore the whole rigamarole (and save my blood pressure) I've decided to stock up on food, movies and sewing projects, and spend this weekend holed up at home. The sampler quilt is on my list, but that's not all:
- I love this felt wall planter – I think it would be perfect for a bit of balcony gardening.
- I'll be sewing up a flying geese color wheel for the Maple Leaf Quilting Bee.
- Remember when I said there'd be a dress in my future? I think that the Amy Butler Liverpool Dress is the one. (Thank goodness for the internet and its pattern reviews and previews!) And double thanks that The Workroom (my go-to for AB patterns and fabric) is outside of the "red zone."
