Knit a chunky funnel-neck sweater

Nimbus sweater
The Nimbus Sweater's funnel neck falls in graceful waves around your neck and shoulders. Make this pullover office-ready by combining it with a trumpet skirt and neutral tights worn  with stacked-wooden heel T-strap pumps or with tweedy gauchos and cognac leather lace-up boots.

Twinkle style is a study in contrasts, and this pattern illustrates the principle perfectly. The open-work in this sweater's wide funnel neck lends a lightness to contrast with the chunky yarn. Princess seams along the bust help the bulky yarn create a surprisingly flattering silhouette, and raglan sleeves lend a comfortable fit and allow ease of movement.

Notes
The Sleeves are first knit flat, then the Body is knit in the round. The Sleeves are joined to the body at the underarm, and the sweater is knit in one piece from that point. The stitch marker at the beginning of the round should be a different colour from the others. If you are unable to fit the stitches for the funnel neck onto the 24" (60 cm) circular needles, use double-pointed needles instead.
