We asked, you answered: what's your splurge food?

Whether it's going to your favourite restaurant, cooking up the tastiest recipe you can think of, or even grabbing fast food (no shame!), we all love to indulge.

The Canadian Living team took to Facebook to ask readers what their favourite splurge meal is. Admittedly, the responses made us a little hungry, so we paired your favourite splurge foods with some of the best recipes from our Test Kitchen.

Without a doubt, the top answer was steak, with a huge variety of pairings and sides. It's one of our favourites too, and we have great recipes for all of that. Check out our steak florentine, broccoli fettuccine alfredo, and classic cheesecake! Or, have you tried our peppercorn steaks? They pair perfectly with our wild mushroom freekeh salad and cheesy broccoli baked potatoes
